great to see them lose got what they deserved.
Cant add 1 superstar to the team an expect them to be finals contenders especially with their coach.
Judd still not right an wont be for most the season HA

They need defenders they need forwards
All they have is fev up forward an thornton down back the rest are crap
midfield is now ok but still to inexperienced.
Until thy fix there defense or forward line they will still be struggling in the bottom 4

As good as Judd is did anyone expect him to be a miracle cure for the Blues? I mean I am not knocking them even though they are an arch rival of Collingwood but seriously there was no way Judd was going to fix it. There have been problems in the side that Judd cannot fix, and that was shown.

There were times I got the feeling that there were players that were not playing team football and there was no talking, I mean down the backline two Carlton players collided resulting in one Carlton player delivering a hip and shoulder to his team mate.


And then later in the third Stevens had a chance to run and kick a goal but he passed it and Fev and another Carlton player both went for the ball, neither called it, and neither talked and it was spoiled and the ball (from memory) was cleared.


Judd also showed signs of frustration during the Third Quarter so the blues have work to do, and with all the hype over the Blues getting Judd and supposedly being a great side now has probably added more pressure to some of the players as well.

Gee, Freo always choke in the second half. I mean i expected it, they put a very old side on the board. I just wanted the young guys to get a run, Drum, Palmer, Warnock, and Ibbotsin all deserved a run IMO.

Harvey said it was a big game,1st round big occasion an might be too much for youngsters.
Was going to give the older more experienced guys 1 last chance to show what they have.

Hopefully he now weilds the axe.
Palmer is gonna be a star, nothing fancy but absolute ball magnet
Ibbotsom is the quicker taller type midfielder we lack an shows great skills
Mayne can play mid an up forward he is a clone of collingwoods daisy thomas.
Warnock shows signs of being a very good ruckman if they dont give him games he will move back to vic where he will get more game time an become a top class ruckman.

These guys can all walk into our team in step up to AFL level with no trouble at all.
They cant play every game as there bodies arent up to it yet but easily 10-15games.

Guys like drum need to perform at WAFL level an as soon as they do drop the underperforming players an put them in.

What a match the Dogs and Crows turned out to be. Dogs home by 3 points, Adelaide had the chance to win the match with Bock having the last shot on goal, and missing. Well done Brad Johnson on 300 wonderful AFL games. :happy

Defiently wasnt going to kick it anyway. Too much of an angle for him, he is a good set shot from the middle of the ground, but too much of an angle for him to guide through the ball. I knew he wasnt going to kick it from there.

Who will the Dockers drop for them? Will Tarrant get another game next week after the shocker he put in against the Maggies? I mean I know he has other uses then kicking goals but he just couldn't get near the ball, and I fear that next week might be the same.

Well easy really, drop Matty Car and McManus, in goes Palmer and Warnock. If they do drop tarrant here comes drum. But since Trent Croad is injured i highly doubt they will drop him.

Poor Ruzza got injured I hope he can get back soon and be able to get through a season without a shoulder problem doesn't look likely...sadly.
