Man I have completely lost my knowledge on graphics, the feedback that I will have for you is this though..
Shafali Avatar looks over sharpened and the font itself doesn't help either which also takes away half of the space itself, would work better with a better font not that one.
Joe Root one could be better in my opinion, looks a bit blurred to me and its a bit too dark just needs a bit of touching up other than that it's a really good avatar!
