Hi, I need help on this Alt-Tab button. I want to use Field Editor to set my fields and so I run Field Editor in the background while playing the game. But when I Alt-Tab back to the Field Editor, the game screen freezes and I have to keep hitting Alt-Tab more than 10 to 15 times till it comes back into the game. This happens always. Sometimes, it never comes back into the game and I have to restart my laptop. Can some one help me on this?

Try Control + Escape

It basically does the same thing as Alt + Tab :)

:cheers

I find if I run another application in the background (even task manager) I can alt-tab to it.

I run Field Editor and wk_timer.exe in the background. when I Alt-Tab, the game freezes. I am able to see my default usual white mouse pointer but the game screen remains frozen.

And to gold, your "Ctrl-Esc" idea didnt work for me too from within the game. Dont know what to do! Just having to restart it always! Sometimes ago, it used to freeze 80% of the time when I use Alt-Tab. now it freezes 99%

If you press it when the loading screen is showing it seems to always work. Dont think that will help you really though.

wow good avater ste, comming to the problem use clt-alt-del to go back to window and then cose it and then go to field editor this is what i do when alt-tab not works.

Ok guys, found out a solution (dont know if it is permanent or temporary!). Till now, I had two windows running in the background - wk_timer.exe and Field Editor. My wk_timer.exe was the second active window running above Field Editor when I played C2004 and it always froze when I tried to Alt-Tab back. Now, I have the Field Editor window as the window above wk_timer.exe and now when I alt-Tab, 92% I am able to get back to the Field Editor. Dont know if its temporary or permanent solution but it seems to work.

after seeing the above post sai why cant u close one of the windows and try with only one open

I am playing a match on a Hard pitch with Sam's runout exe.. So I need to stop those byes and so I have the wk_timer.exe running. I also need the Field Editor to edit my fields.

May be, should I try keeping the Field Editor closed and then open Field Editor when I Alt-Tab back to the Desktop?
