Alternative balls (slower, spin etc)

Hey, i got the game a few days ago and only have one major problem, i can't bowl any of the alternative balls for any bowler eg slower balls or arm balls etc....
any help would be greatly appreciated as apart from this the games gr8!

Sorry, what i meant is that whenever i try and bowl one of them by pressin a,d,or w they dont work....any suggestions?????

Do you press the same button to start and end the delivery?

yeah, but sometimes it won't start the ball and when it does and i press the same button it doesn't finish it.....
