PlanetCricket is now taking applications to fill roles on the forums. Those include forum moderators, fantasy cricket, sportsbook, and for writers, in particular to assist in updating our resources on cricket games.

Applications can be made by posting a thread in the Contact a Mod forum, with the thread prefix set to 'Staff Application'. These will be visible by current members of the moderating team, but not other users.

Please let us know what areas of the forum you are most active in, your timezone and the times of day you are often available, as well as anything else you feel is relevant to why you should be chosen.

In addition, if you are applying to be a moderator of the forum, discuss your views on the current state of the site, anything you would handle differently, and how you feel you would be able to deal fairly with other members of the site.

There will be no close date on applications, as this will be a rolling thing. Take time and consider your application - your first impression will count for a lot, so make it a good one.

In many cases, applying will result in the staff taking a closer look at your posts as part of determining your suitability to the position. Include the word radiator in your application to indicate you have read this message. Part of the reason for this approach is to identify members who wish to be staff, but did not stand out to us for whatever reason previously.

---

Note that all positions on the forum are unpaid and that the admin team reserves the right to reject any application without giving a reason. Applications are only to be made through the Contact a Mod forum - sending messages to staff directly will harm any application. Users recently banned or removed from a position on the forum are not to apply.
