And here we are, the third and final day of results in the 2017 PlanetCricket Awards!

Best Cricket Game
The first award today is for the best cricket game, and it's a big win for @BigAntStudios, with the new Ashes Cricket game taking out the top award - knocking off long time winner EA Cricket 07.

Most Helpful Member
And it's another win for @RUDI taking out the Most Helpful Member category, in what was a close run contest!

Funniest Member
No clear winner in the next category, with @blockerdave and @Na Maloom Afraad sharing the award for funniest member.

The next award did see a clear winner, with @Aislabie taking out the award for the best Cricket Discussion poster!

The award for Best Forum on the site was another close one, with the Cricket Discussion section just beating out the Cricket Leagues section to take the honours.

Best Test Batsman
On to the cricket categories, and it's Steve Smith taking out the award for best test batsman!

Virat Kohli - 37%
Ellyse Perry - 8%

Best Test Bowler

No clear winner for best test bowler however, with Starc and Ashwin finishing equal in what was a very close category

Kagiso Rabada - 24%

Best Test Side
Taking out the award for best test side, is India.

India - 69%
Australia - 20%
South Africa - 11%

Best Series/Tournament
While winning the tournament itself didn't get Pakistan a win in the best ODI team category, the Champions Trophy itself takes out the award for best Series/Tournament in the previous year.

India v New Zealand ODI Series - 13%

Most Improved Cricketer
And for our final award for the 2017 PlanetCricket Awards, Hardik Pandya has won in the Most Improved Cricketer category!

Congratulations to all the winners.

It was a great feeling to win two awards and missed by a bit on two. Nonetheless it has been a very productive year for me.

Could it be arranged for the winners to have a custom user title at their disposal such as ‘Post of the Year winner 2017’.

Would be great if we can get some feedback from the winners or staff members as I know Matt is a bit busy with his commitments at work.
