It is big task to take on Aussie even in warmups... Our hopes are not bright, but we like to get some positive moments from this match...

Corey Anderson's all-round performance still did not make a huge impact on the result as his side kept on losing wickets while chasing and they couldn't manage to build up a strong partnership throughout

Mashrafe Mortaza's contribution to his team in both batting and bowling earned him man of the match

Result - Bangladesh won by 54 runs

Player of the match - Mashrafe Mortaza (Bangladesh)

Now this does feel somewhat odd, Bangladesh beating New Zealand by 54 runs.. well geez that's something I didn't expect. You sure you got the ratings right there? @BowringFC

Ratings are absolutely fine. On aggregate of ratings from those two lineups, New Zealand are far ahead than Bangladesh despite the fact they lost by 54 runs. Also considering real life events, Bangladesh is a rapidly emerging team. They have managed to beat major teams such as India(second ranked) and South Africa(third ranked). Also it'd be quite difficult to believe this and this scorecard(where their bowlers destroyed world's best/second best batting order for low total of 170 or below), but that is reality. I think the result is just a reflection of nothing but game of cricket.

I am sure he did.
Well, I was secs away to add that link...
