I recently bought this game. I am still playing at village level. But I seem to face problem bowling. Is there some way in which we can control which ball to bowl, like outswing, inswing or flipper or googly. These were available in Cricket 97.
Computer just kills all my bowlers. :(

Please advice.

Read the manual...

There's only four buttons you need. Enter, shift, ctrl & 0 ins.

Just try different buttons you will work it out. 0 ins button will make the fast bowlers bowl a bit faster, and the spin bowlers to vary the loop of the ball.

Good luck.

hi

the best weapon when u ball is 'generate innings'. can't remember the days i bowled in swc. i hate bowling in swc, 'coz its a waste of time. as long as there is no option to fast forward the time between each balls, like in cricket 2000,etc... its boring to ball.

Undertaker,
I'm not sure what you mean - do you have to wait until the bowler walks all the way back to his mark in between deliveries? Coz I don't in my game - I use a joypad and just press 'enter' when the bowler has the ball back in his hand, or when the keeper has the ball. This then takes the bowler straight back to his mark ready for the next delivery.
It normally takes me about 1 and three quarters - 2 hours to bowl a complete 50 over one day innings. That's not too bad.
And with Zim's ODI and Test patches, the cpu scores at a more realistic rate, and plays a greater variety of shots :) .
