Povetkin just gave a glimpse at the end of the first round of how much of handful he can be on the inside. AJ needs to keep his distance with the jab.

He's starting to establish range now, as Povetkin tires out and applies less pressure he can keep him on the outside and go to work.

Yeah makes sense, should control fight now, I guess Povetkins best chance is to land a big one ?

Well to me right now it looks like Povetkin is actually quicker into the pocket than AJ is, which further highlights how sluggish he is off his feet. This is really shaping up to be an interesting contest.
As I write this AJ knocks him down in the 7th.
It's over my prediction was right.

Being more than 10 years the junior I expected no less from him tbh. Now that this is out of the way, any fight other than against either Wilder, Fury or Luis Ortiz from here on in would be a distraction IMO.
