Can you edit .tex files? - wanting to edit files

[color=#000000ost_uid9]hi guys just wanted to know if any of you know how to edit the .tex files in the game? I found a web page that said that they are PaintShop Pro Texture and sometimes a rename BMP file but i have tried that and it don't work.
anyone know anything else?[/color]

The .tex files in C2002 don't contain any graphics Aussieboy, they are references to graphics files elsewhere in the game.
You can either read them with a hex editor or easier still - right click any .tex file and 'open with...' and select 'wordpad'.
