The only way it could've is if there was a Aussie team from your league last season, I remember when I completed my SAPL 2, they picked Centurion Lions over a team from Afrikan Premier League, because a team from my league entered in the competition a season before. So this time it will be Elite League Australia because the team from that league has entered the season before. I may be totally wrong with this. But I just stated what happened with me.
