CPU bowler choices

I just started a Test Match playing as England against India. On the first morning of the first day, the CPU elected to open the bowling with two spinners (Singh and Kumble). What the heck?...that doesn't seem right! I've never seen it happen in a real game of cricket.....

was this an exhibition match and did you edit the computers batting lineup? if so that could be your problem cos the bowling changes work based on a pattern which is based upon the batting lineup.

say Nehra and Zahn were originally meant to open the bowling and they were batting 10 and 11, if you moved around the batting lineup so that singh and kumble were 10 and 11, they would then open the bowling.

trick is to not really tinker with it 2 much :(

Lol another example of crap ai in BLIC. The one game i did play of it before it joined nhl2001 on the shelf, Zimbabwe's opening bowlers bowled 20 overs each on the trot, it was at this point i realised this game will never be played again untill i see a patch.

you're damn right. Kumble has now bowled 35 overs in a row - at this rate he has almost bowled non-stop right through the first day of the test match. That is so wrong.
