    Info

Cricket Champions 09 is a small cricket simulation game developed in VB.net and VC++. The game is based on the exciting cricket format , Twenty20. The first version will not be advanced like other simulation game CC09, ICC09 etc but improvements in guaranteed in the future versions.

    FEATURES

    Database Viewer:
This will allow you to view the details of all the players in your database.

    Statistics Engine:
This will show you your records. Some work is left which includes the connection with the top scores database.

New Game: Simulate the T20 Cricket Match between two countries.
Pitch & Stadium: Select Pitch and Stadium of your choice.

Visual previews for wickets, and sixes. It won't just be a preview with a bowler bowling and a person getting out or hitting sixes. Not too advanced.

Text commentary while simulation. The commentary will be very summarized and not the long ones like in Cricsim. Current status of the match will only be given after every 4 over spell. There will be commentary on each ball in the last two overs of each innings to make it a bit interesting. There will be some special commentary too for some players like Yuvraj, Afridi and other players which will be made only for them.

Toss Selection: Select your decision after winning the toss.

Season: This will allow you to simulate a series of matches between two teams.

    Commentary Export

    Sound Effects

    and few small more...

I need small help from you guys or anyone who can do this easy job. Can someone please prepare the database?

How to do it, simply, choose the current playing 11 of teams (listed below) and then add them in a text file.

    Teams should be
    India
    Pakistan
    Bangladesh
    Sri Lanka
    Australia
    New Zealand
    West Indies
    England
    South Africa
    Ireland
    Use this format

Please don't write Abbriviations Instead of playing like S.Sreesanth or AB Devillirs. Write the complete name like, Sachin Tendulkar, Greame Smith etc :).

I will add the name of the person in the credits.

    Thanks

NOTE: These images doesn't represent the real game as the game is under development.

I know Graphics are too bad but don't worry these are temporary until my friend will make the graphics of this game.

Here is what I have completed so far,

    Main Menu
    Database Viewer:
This will allow you to view the details of all the players in your database.

    Statistics Engine:
This will show you your records. Some work is left which includes the connection with the top scores database.

Here are the features that will be there.

Toss Selection: Select your decision after winning the toss.

Season: This will allow you to simulate a series of matches between two teams.

There will be more small features. I'll be very thankful if someone could do the database thing I posted in my previous post.

If you would like to ask me your questions regarding this game, I'll answer them here.

Basically, Codegen Studios was started by Amit Sharma, who is my friend along with his other two friends. I just joined as a website manager and small developer:p

Thanks a lot. You have done 80% of the work needed for the database.
