Well, where should I post it then? There is no subforum for this in the older games forum.

Also, the files seem to be in several files each, not all in one area. I have never used hex editing or cracking files and bytes and stuff, i am no good. Any help would definately be appreciated.

Cricket 2000 was the first cricket game that I ever bought, and I thought it wasn't too bad. Sadly it was too easy to hit sixes and fours every ball - which made the game quite boring.
You could if you wanted edit the AI, but I don't see any point. The game is too old mate. Why not try patching Cricket 2005?

I also enjoy Cricket2000. Its the AI Batting which sucks(especially against swing) and batting is pretty tough in the hardest level-especially when the ball keeps coming of the inside edge onto the stumps. I wan to fix it. Also I don't have C2K5

I foun where the teams are stored, I just want to open it and maybe edit the lineups.

I dare you to try and last twenty overs without doing that...bloody impossible...especially on full difficulty with Carlsie and G.Flower opening against Wasim and Akhtar/Donald and Pollock...its impossible to smash them anyways when they swing the ball so...

The teams are in .wcf format...

Scratch what I said before:

The teams are like this:

team00A.wcf
team00A.wcl
team00A.wcs
team00A.wct
team00B.wcf
etc. etc.

Any clues? I also haven't found the AI yet...hold on.

Also, what are .CAA files? They have loads of files stored with names like:

C_BatShortrun_01.CAA
C_BatShortrun_02.CAA
C_BatShortrun_03.CAA
C_BatShortrun_05.CAA
C_BatShortrun_06.CAA
C_BatShortrun_09.CAA
C_Bowlpoorlength_09.CAA
C_Newbatsman_03.CAA
C_Newbatsman_05.CAA

etc, etc, in a file called play-by-play. This could be the commentatory, except that there is another file called commentatory, although the files are also in .CAA format...

Do u still have the game installed, cause all you need are the files basically...

The teams are just under one KB each, but there are a few large files, called:
venues.wcv-24.0 KB
wc.GAME- 19.6 KB
weather.wcw- 14.5 KB

The .GAME one seems interesting...

These is also this wierd file, called 5555?.cff which is 596 bytes large and is an Archive...

Well, hopefully. If no one uses it, atlest I'll enjoy myself:)

I seemed to have missed out the C2K.ICD file...1913 KB large...And I found a file to open it:)
IronCAD 2D CAD File
C2K.ICD is too large to attatch...I'll try again later.
