Incredible tactics from England to declare the innings on first day with 30odd overs remaining. I understand only one wicket was left but most teams would have banked to bat and get 20-30 more runs with the last wicket.
Positive mindset. That's what matters here. However, with all English teams , they seem to still have the old problem of focusing heavily on one format. At the moment, it seems to be Test Cricket

Brilliant as usual we have seen from this English side recently. The tactics of declaring and getting 3 wickets. I know a lot would argue that what if New Zealand did not lose 3 wickets... I would still call this brilliant. Its aggressive mindset as such is what will keep TEST cricket alive and interesting for years to come. Happy to see English in good hands of Stokes.

Only missed the start by about 90 minutes/18 overs (because of stupid things like getting sleep) but I've missed about 130 runs.

Genuinely kind of gutted. England are must watch, when batting in test cricket.
