Not being so stressed about my schooling. That said, that will also be a thing of the past in a few months, so for a more general answer, not being stressed about my friends. I only have a few friends and I think I'm lucky to have them, but I do worry about them far too much. That said, I can hopefully begin to work on it now that I know the root cause of it (Type Two/INFJ personality, apparently it's a common thing among those)

You know just do one thing. Try to be more active on social media(avoid going to comments section) and try to contact more and more people. Try to be more active here and keep posting everywhere. Try going out and meet people. Just try to go out of your comfort zone of talking to a certain people and open up to a larger part of the world. And if nobody comes to you then you are yourself with you. Try talking to your ownself. This has helped me a lot. Earlier nobody used to involve me so I took it as a part of my life and tried to get out of the negativity. I would say last few months I hadn’t been doing that and until yesterday I was like what I used to be. One of my friend adviced me yesterday that don’t think that you are one of the most unluckiest person because nobody talks to you, take efforts by yourself. And also how much people will involve you? They too got to be living their lives so they can’t make themselves available to you all the time.

Yeah, no doubt. I have three IRL friends (three of the most important people in my life, I think), and I'm very thankful that I have them- until Grade 9 (14-ish for those who don't use the same schooling system), I had no close friends at all. I have a lot more friends online (I moderate a few Discord servers, so I know a fair few people from there) but IRL friendships are something I do have to work on- having autism and social anxiety, it's harder than most, but I don't want to treat that as an excuse.

Edit: regarding the comments section, I do enjoy leaving comments (good ones!) on people's posts. I find that the issue becomes when you reply to comments that aren't your own or on your own post- it can become an argument really quite quickly.

1. It's obviously appalling. Particularily when we have plastic recycling systems available- we have to invest in those. Here in Australia there's one that can turn bags into furniture, I believe.

The biggest issue is the fact no one really wants to do anything about it as there is no profit in it, here we have waste recycle centres for all sorts as there is a market for it but in International waters the responsibility rests with no one.

Who was your first cricket "hero"?

Hmmmmmm. Probably Ryan Harris - I have a thing for the plucky underdog (diBenedetto, Phoenix Suns, QPR if they ever went up again) and he was such a good player when he played. That ball to Cook- just the perfect delivery.

How are things going with SRDCC?

I haven't played in a while. I'd be very open to going back socially, but I decided to stop during Year 8 to concentrate on my studies- and two matches later copped a ball right on the ankle, which wasn't a normal colour for a month after that (was very lucky to avoid breaking it, I think). At this point, because I only have sight in one eye, I can't come back competitively.

What is your favourite playing memory?

Actually playing would be the one time I didn't look like a sub fielder- I took 3/8 off two overs (this was when you could only bowl two overs so that everyone got a bowl). I think there was a correlation between the low amount of wides and the wickets! Special mention to scoring like 2*(25) on a very bad (i.e. actual lawn) wicket in Year 5 school cricket
However, my favourite memory of a cricket match I was involved in would be as a 'coach' (read: helping with the kitbags) in Year 10 school cricket. Our team was nuts- we had like 7 or 8 Year 12s who were just brilliant players. We made the final for our local area where we played a private school- the only team who, in the regular round, we didn't have a blowout win over. Anyway, we put up a decent score, and then we made it look like the aforementioned grass wicket by rolling them for 50.

Where is your favourite city?

I've never been to one not called Brisbane, so I guess there, but if we extend to towns I'd say Agnes Water (on the QLD mid-north coast) as I have fond memories of holidays there as a kid.

Don't really have an opinion on this one. It may weaken them but it also may cause an increase in youth focus.

At least one 160kmh bowler (Mitch Starc?)
At least one death bowler with a million slow balls (AJ Tye/Benny Howell?)
At least one world-class wristspinner (Rashid Khan?)
A couple of big hitting allrounders (Andre Russell etc)
A few unorthodox top order batsmen, including a wicketkeeper (Dilshan, Gayle, Buttler etc)
And Freddie Flintoff, because he's the kind of guy who will do Elvis impersonations fielding at mid on

Not any players who wouldn't have made it when they first played, but Tim Paine wouldn't make any other Top 8 team anymore, and given we have Matt Wade, Alex Carey and Josh Inglis, I don't think he should.

If we're referring to height by size, the Rakheems. If we're referring to the entire body by size, the Blackwood.

Agreed that Flintoff was and is one of the most charismatic cricketers in recent memory. And even though he's 43 now, he's probably fitter than he was when he was playing.

Tbf, that basically sounds like First Grade with better players. Certainly would be interesting, until the weather got involved; I always liked playing single-innings time games when I used to play for my wandering club (I should go back, I have a life membership) but they were more like 60 overs a side unless we really got a wiggle on. On one memorable occasion, I managed to get through sixteen overs in the first half hour by opening the bowling with myself and a left-arm spinner!

As an addendum to your first question- one of my earliest cricket memories (although not the earliest) was reading the 2010-11 season guide while sitting in the hall of my house waiting for that storm to pass. Luckily we live in an area that doesn't get flooded, but that was an awful chapter in our history.
