He has the potential, he showed the glimpse in Big bash, I remember watching 40 of 12 or 13 was a special knock, him and Shadab Khan are very underated in my opinion at world level.

Shadab is underrated true & will be retained next year if he is available but Asif if anything is overrated (the guy average in BBL was 9) the man has no brain, no awareness (just tries to slog everything)

Asif Ali is a failed cricketer at International Level & more importantly majority of Pakistan's domestic champs shit the bed once they are outside of that bubble: Asif, Khushdil, Ifti, Shan, Umar Amin, even Asad Shafiq minus Tests & Haider Ali - still have hope from him (the biggest one of them all - Khurrum Manzoor)

The myth that Asif Ali has potential needs to die ASAP for Pakistan own good (guy is 31 years old & plays one good innings once in a while)
