How many matches did you see from Stands?

Third day of a Test between India vs Pakistan at Eden Gardens (the year was 2007 I suppose), a rain-affected IPL match between CSK and KKR in 2008, and some random football matches. That sums up my story.

In that case, sports forum?

Been to plenty of football matches. Best two have to be Walsall vs Reading in the 2001 play-off at the Millennium Stadium and a Carling Cup game between Liverpool and Reading at Anfield. The Walsall-Reading game ended 3-2 to Walsall, which was good because I went with my mate and his dad who had played for Walsall. Liverpool won the Carling Cup game 4-3. So, I would say Reading are the best team to go and watch live, unless you support them :p

  • India vs Sri Lanka Test Match (Day 2) in Delhi, way back in 2004.
  • Delhi Daredevils vs Kolkata Knight Riders in Delhi (IPL 2008). Not a single ball was bowled, was a rain affected match.
  • India vs Australia ODI 2009, in Delhi.

Been to a couple of All Black matches.
And so many Otago/Highlanders :facepalm

You can add the 1st ever International Twenty20s in the USA to my list in a few weeks!

I was talking about rugby :p
But yes I did see... On T.V

OMG! I forgot one main thing!

I went to opening & Closing ceremonies of Afro Asian Games held in Hyderabad (Don't remember the year though:p)

Sport overall= Heaps. A hell of a lot of AFL games, a few A-League and NRL games, a few soccer internationals, Bledisloe Cup and other union games, the Australian Open (tennis and golf), the Commonwealth Games and more.

Outside of Melbourne I've not been to much. England v Pakistan in 2006 in London, Australia v England in 2007 in Sydney and few others.

Never been to an Australian international football game myself. Been to 10 or so Sydney FC games, all this season (1 last season). Looking to get membership this season but.

Been to a good 60 or so St George games.

I'd love to go to a Warriors game, I've probably got more chance of seeing an NRL match in Aussie though, as I've never been to Auckland (apart from when I was little(

I'd love to go to a World Cup game of some sport. Anyone been to one?

Hoping to go to the Cricket World Cup in 2015, will kill to get finals tickets lmao. When we'll get the Champions Trophy or Twenty20 World Cup I don't know.

And hopefully the FIFA World Cup if we get it. I wish I'd gone to the Rugby World Cup in 2003 :( Went to a few Champions Trophy games for hockey last year.

I'd love to get the 2018 WC because a lot of stars would still be playing. I'd go on full stalking mode and try get some photos and autographs. I remember Blake and I made a pretty strong list of the players that'll still be going good in 2018.

u-19 soccer WC if that counts.
I may go to a Rugby WC match next year, but we only have teams like Scotland vs Georgia or England vs Ireland in Dunedin (not very appealing to me)

It might be 2022 though, which would mean almost no one is left :S

That's the great thing about living in Melbourne, we always get high rating matches, and usually finals. We should have locked up the FIFA World Cup Final, and the Cricket World Cup final.
