Online Cricket Games Owned
I think i've bought a few versions of the game and I recently bought the new one. I do feel slightly let down. Don't get me wrong as I enjoy playing the game but I just don't see how 18 pounds is justified. The game isn't new, all they've done is update the player list. I would have thought that during that time there would be some more game play added. Nothing seems to have changed since I bought my first version. I think with a little bit of development the game would be even better. I don't think that a few database changes are worth 18 pound or whatever the game costs.

well what else has been updated to justify the cost?

I could understand it if they had introduced new elements of gameplay but you have the same bowling options since the original. HOw about introducing distinctions between seem and swing bowlers.

Even the shots you see the players make don't seem to have changed.

What's been changed? Let's see......

  • Two overseas players per county side
  • Scotland in National League
  • Bangladesh added
  • World Cup every 4 years, and in new format
  • Kolpak Players
  • Centrally Contracted England players
  • Twenty20 Cricket
Yeah nothing really I suppose.

they are all structural changes to the database; i don't see adding new players or changing the fixture lists as massive changes.

I understand that you like the game (I do too) but to admit that it isn't perfect isn't heresy. THere areas that I would like to see developed.

he is right, nothing really has changed except for few minor details....

waste of money just for a database update....

AI hasn?t been updated, no really innovative new features....

I should have stuck to my old version....

and these minor improvements come at the expense of player images...

Developers should have at least put some effort to make the game better, I feel like a fool for buying this?.

sorry but i disagree, i think this version is a lot better than previous versions. interface has changed and is a lot better than previous versions, updated roster, kolpak mplayers, 2 foreign players. So much has changed, and mate after all it's only ?18 or from play.com ?15. Come on man

I can see it's been improved but that's just updating rule changes - they had no choice but to do that. Changing the roster is also pretty basic stuff and the interface is just neater. I don't see any more options in the most recent interface.

I think I've had a number of versions of the game and I just don't think it's changed as much as it could have. When you compare it to something like Championship Manager which has changed a lot. I don't feel cheated but I feel like they've changed the rules, the fixture list, player names - and slapped a new price tag on it.

I'd like to see players have different attributes. It would be good if there were more training options, etc. I'd like to be able to ask a bolwer to ball a bouncer and see it aimed really short. It's a good game but it could be so much better.
