It's normally every two years but it was brought forward a year this time. So the next one will be in 2013

This World cup is basically scheduled next year!

Actually, next year, two world cups with IPL is impossible (3 Major Tournaments) & even the CWC is a 50 over one, which is long enough.
(Of course IPL is not in Calender, but when its going on, many international teams won't be playing for atleast a month.)

So, ICC have pre poned 2011 T20 WC to 2010!

In reference to your Ashes thread comment, which seems an Indian come back to anything. That was made 14 months before the series was to begin. This must be at least 36 months.
