Maybe and I am feeling that this time Pakistan, New Zealand or West Indies will win the WCT20.
South Africa will chock again...
Most probably New Zealand or South Africa.

Usual T20 suspects (Pak and WI) stepping up at WC time. Will be interesting seeing how they end up going.

And India will be defeated by South Africa in Semis. :p

Yes, very likely.

In fact the semi-final line-ups could be :Ind v South Africa & Australia v WI

South Africa could very well lift their 2nd ICC trophy here.

We're running out of time to win our first then...

Edit: Unless we're counting the Champions Trophy...

I was actually surprised to see sportsbook event of Afg vs SL. I thought ppl would have wagered on SL but was amazed to see the amount of wagers which attracted Afghanistan. This shows how SL has declined and how Afg are rising.

Wahab was the second-highest wicket taker in the PSL. And he also was in the top five wicket takers in ODIs in 2015.

Well the thrashing of wahab is before you as well off-late. Stats don't matter 100% for the selection and trust.

On other note, It seems that Sri-Lanka is the weakest team among all in this competition. Its such a pity to see a team going down too steep like this after the retirement of legendary players like Sanagakara and Jaywardene to name a few... :facepalm But its a different story altogether

As high in spirit as AFG is right now, and as low in form as SL is right now I still think SL will win this one

Maybe I am wrong, but I have always had this idea that SL never seem to lose to the weaker teams/associates

Do you think Afghanistan is a weaker team than Sri Lanka?

Traditionally, of course

On paper and experience wise, sort of

On current form, I would put them on an equal pedestal

And don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE the AFG cricket success story and would be absolutely delighted if they actually win this tournament.

A very measured approach by AFG. 145 (even 150) could be on cards here and that will be VERY challenging for SL

I agree that they have improved and are in a position to face any team fearlessly. But, they are still amateur to win this "tournment".
