I might end up eating my words, but I don't think India can beat RSA in the ODIs. I would give India a chance if they were playing at home though. In the tests, on the other hand, I'd say India are favorites.

Good to see that India have got over their Twenty20aphobia.
I know they opposed the format on the international stage, but did they ever refuse to play one, or requested not to play?

India should do well in this format of the game, though I expect RSA to murder them.

Twenty20 - They were voted out 10-1 I believe
Anyways, good to so them coming into the game.

I feel the ODI's will be keenly contested.
Say 3-2 to either side.

Test Series 1-1.
Do not forget that South Africa are on Home territory.

Two of the game's biggest chokers meet! LOL

I think it will be a very closely contested series, I see India comming on top in the ODI's, and a draw for the test matches

My predictions are pretty much the same as yours but i expect SA to get away with the series win. SA are probably the best ODI side going around at the moment as seen in the recent ODI series against Aus.

Indeed it is true. They've played nine tests, drawn five and lost four. They also lost the unofficial test played in 2001.

Someone playing for south africa was inlegible i some way so the ICC refused to give it official status, not sure it that was before or after it was played.

No wait it was because India refused to have the match referee Mike Denness...

I just read his profile on Cricinfo. It says he sanctioned six Indian players including Sachin. Any idea why?
