Guess what? India were 62/2 at Gabba back in 2003/04 in their first innings and Ganguly scored a wonderful hundred that day. Would expect either of Rahane/Pujara to do the same if we are to compete in this match.

Ganguly scored 144 in that match & then 10 years later Murali Vijay score 144 too when india last played here at the Gabba bcak in 2014.

The main reason why Rohit has flattered to deceive in his test career has been because his natural position and role has been occupied by the Indian skipper and one of the best talents in our history. In his absence, I would have expected him to play there rather than open especially with Mayank in the side. Oh well, still think he has done an adequate job considering the circumstances.

The Brissie overcast will likely assist Australia's pace attack. So why are we starting with Lyon. It is only the 26th over so still plenty of hardness on the ball.

Ok Paine just checking spin conditions with just the one Lyon over. The pieman Starc gets the Kooka ahead of the better performed Hazlewood? The underfiring leftie needs to make a statement in this match or be axed for the Saffer tour. Separating these two fine Indian bats is a start.

Yep you played us in 2018 and won for first time since Adam with that squad. We just happened to have the world's best bat and a super slugger with an incredible home record on the sidelines.

I have been impressed by the way your reserves have stood up this series. Some good talent for India for the future.

Hazlewood has Pujara again. The big fellar is in career best form since the Ashes.

11-5-14-1. Incredible economy once again from Hazlewood. That is pressure building at its best.

Rahane has one wide drive too many at Starc. This time Tim Paine does have a fourth slip. India is in some trouble now.

Aussie bowlers need to apply pressure to Pant and not give him gifts and he will fall like a pack of cards.

Losing wicket after getting settled in is crime from Puji and Jinks. Really criminal! Hope we can get as close as possible and narrow the trail as much as possible. 210 is still a big trail.

And Agarwal has thrown it away too.

A big lead coming for Australia and perhaps series win too.

That shot is equally bad as What overated Sharma played yesterday.

Yes the Agarwal dismissal was not exactly a result of the usual suffocating Hazlewood accuracy. No way he needed to play at that. Has now put his team in big big trouble.

You guys only have to draw and you retain Border/Gavaskar trophy.

Just bad shots all around from Rahane and Mayank. You never really know what to expect from Pant and can't expect much from the inexperienced lower order.
