Before going to Lunch Kl Rahul said to Rishab Pant - "Ball toh Dekh le".

Trans - "See the ball First" : p
Thats how Pant bats - full of premeditation, a bit of blocking and then some random slogging.

Had the target been around 350-ish, England might have started to get nervous about now. But they have solid cushioning and it's only a matter of 1 wicket.

I won't be surprised if we end up saving it, winning it would be a dream though.
Amen.. great going KL and Pant. We certainly weren't thrashed in any of the matches barring the one at Lord's.

190 to win in 40 overs[DOUBLEPOST=1536675276][/DOUBLEPOST]Come on Jimmy
You need one more wicket here to break McGrath's 563.

Rahul need 59 more to break his record of 199 vs eng.

6 away from a first hundred for Pant! Though this has come in absolutely good batting conditions, he is doing this in a chase of 464 where batsmen retreat into shells and play out for a draw. But Pant here alongwith Rahul have raised realistic dreams of getting a miraculous victory here.

Irrespective of what happens, this is brilliant batting from Rahul and Pant.

Gavaskar made an excellent point on how Rahul was reaching for the ball before this innings and how well he has rectified the technical skill now.

There is no way we are winning this! Draw can still be a possibility but still 70 - 30 in England's favor v/s Draw.

Good to see both Pant and Rahul scoring runs. I do think they both are all format players but just needs to be given some time and confidence for them to perform at their best. Hopefully they can be a little more consistent in the future.

Where are the so-called Indian fans? Well... don't worry they'll flood this place once we lose few wickets or the match.

Brilliant from both these guys, the fighting spirit and not giving up is all what I care. And that six from Pant to reach his maiden century reminded me of Sehwag.. long way to go buddy.
