Ah you've had a mare here pal :laughter:
That 4th wicket partnership corrupted my brain.

On a serious note,
With a comeback like that, England deserved to be on the winning side.

England is blessed to have in-form players who are in their prime as well as going through a purple patch combined.

GOAT Root
Bazball Bairstow
Captain Stokes
Ever-Green Anderson
Blazing Buttler

And list goes on...

Pakistan can kiss goodbye to that 3-0 sweep this winter…
In fact we’re gonna get swept 3-0 if Rambo keeps up his pitches shenanigans…
It’s like Baz flipped a switch… astonishing
He actually did. How else do you go from being absolutely terrible to world beaters this suddenly?

What on earth is this ridiculous trend of bashing Dravid and #BringBackShastri ? I admit the results under RD haven't been spectacular, but we are forgetting that Ravi had 6 years with the team wherein he built it to his liking. Why can't our people give some more time to RD to etch out a strategy that would eventually make us world beaters?

The next test is atleast 6 months away and I expect major changes /overhaul in the squad by then. For starters, the team needs to zero down on a captain (physically fit, good credentials) and someone who can lead us for atleast 2year non-stop. That's the only way you can draft out something concrete. Every series Dravid has to contend with a different captain.

Secondly, the Indian non-performers can and should be shown the door. You cannot hog the place in the Indian side without performance. Now, even if it is Kohli, Rohit, they need to be put in their places.

England is blessed to have in-form players who are in their prime as well as going through a purple patch combined.

You could say so. In-form players make a big difference to any side. India would find it tough to win the limited over series as well, unless Rohit or some other players strike top form.
In fact we’re gonna get swept 3-0 if Rambo keeps up his pitches shenanigans…

I wouldn't be so sure of that. England in Pakistan might be a treat to watch. I'd like to see this Bazball strategy being employed against some good spinners in their own backyard. If England take it there, they would certainly go down as one of the top Test sides then.

It is mind numbing for me that Root has not played all 3 formats for England forever. I anyway have never thought of all but one IPL franchise to have brains about them so I am not surprised he's not rated there but for him to not be a permanent fixture in white ball cricket is a huge service to the opposition lot.
