I think ankit bawne unlucky still not get indian cap after Decades of success in Domestic
Bawne was involved in a 594-run stand with Swapnil Gugale, the second highest ever stand for any wicket in first-class cricket. The right-hander ended up with an unbeaten 258 - his career-best score in first-class cricket.
Bawne got his rewards in the form of a call-up to the Delhi Daredevils franchise during 2017 IPL auctions and was also selected for the India 'A' team - for the tour of South Africa and the home series against New Zealand.
india always in hunt for left arm medium pacer, few days ago J&K s Abid Mustaq skilled out vidarbh taking 8 for 18,
vidarbh champion team of 2018/19 ranji trophy chasing 140 odd were 96 for 3 they lost next 7 for 5 runs vs Deadly spell of Aabid [ match figures of 11 for 84]
Jesus Christ, Sarfaraz Khan... I've never seen anyone more deserving of a place in a Test team. Averages 80 after 50+ innings, scores a ton with a SR of 70 every match. When Pujara was out of the Test side and Iyer hadn't debuted, I can't fathom how he didn't find a spot. Even now, he should be the no. 1 backup to Kohli and Iyer, if not in the team.
Sarfaraz should have gotten in a few years ago. But seems, he and Kohli had a tiff when the former was at RCB. He was regularly benched and not selected on account of his fitness(Kohli standards)
The curious case of Sarfaraz is similar to that of Amol Mujumdar, who deserved a run with the Indian team. Quite a few good batsmen from India never made it past their states. Badrinath, is yet another example of this. Among the current run getters, Sarfaraz and Easwaran ought to feel hard done by, by the selectors.
