I still remember the match between RCB & Gujarat Lions, wherein Ishan Kishan almost single handedly won the match for his team. Kohli was trolled for cussing the youngsters after taking the catch.

Even Kohli played a guest role in today's Highlight package, still the winning run for the RCB comes from his bat... That's the power of King Kohli...

RCB consistently dropping easy catches in all 3 matches... Sad thing is Kohli is in the top in that list too...

ABD deserves equal appreciation as Kishan. Because, it's not easy to bat - Keep - bat in super over and hit that boundary off Bumrah.

What a treacherous captain Virat Kohli is. Shivam Dube could have easily bowled a couple of overs in the middle with wickets falling all around and the leggies could have been avoided in the last 4. Just unreal.

Uff, it hurts, imagine what would be going through Kishsn's Mind, a bit of elevation and boom! All ifs and buts aside, we played terribly initially and still almost won it, I'd give QDK a last go in the next game and rather being in Lynn and make Ishan keep. After that blitz in the first game, he's looked out of sorts, and ffs bring in NCN!

NCN isn't fully fit
Krunal needs to sit tbh, he's of no use, he can't bat explosively like he used to, neother his bowling is effective, bring in Jayant for Krunal, and NCN for Pattinson as soon as he's fit.

Rohit
Lynn
Surya
Ishan
Pollard
Hardik
NCN
Jayant
Rahul
Boult
Bumrah

Guess this would be our best, Pattinson's been alright, but need a power hitter to back the middle order and I don't really see in Krunal anyymore.

What's it with teams not sending out the batsman who almost won their team the game, in the Super Over? KXIP did it with Mayank, MI did it today with Ishan Kishan. If both these batters chose not to go out, they are the ones to blame for the team's loss. MI almost pulled off a miracle today and Ishan Kishan should've been out there. It is just 6 more balls and you have been in such rollicking form in the main innings that no matter how tired you are, you got to go out and give it the best shot because your frame of mind is in the best space.

RCB must feel happy that they escaped at the end there. They had the game by the scruff of its neck, they let it go spectacularly, and then they somehow again make a superb diving effort and cling onto that final chance. Saini with that Super Over and the 19th over was simply splendid. He's turning out to be such a good death bowler. And Sundar was brilliant in the Powerplay. Finally they've started using Sundar in the right way.

Blockbuster games back to back! Man, this IPL is running riot!

Looking at the condition, I think this type of 200+ close game will come more and more... Already we had 200 runs from both side in both matches at Sharja and now in Dubai too... May be we will soon see in Abu Dhabi too...

I can't really understand people criticizing RCB's death bowling. With Pollard in that sort of form nobody could've stopped him from scoring runs. And about Kishan's innings credit should be given where it's due and he just played the innings of his life in IPL Cricket. I felt the bowling changes were just spot on!!! It is just that RCB didn't had the bowler to support Saini at the death. Sundar being a new ball spinner bowled out in one spell while the other end was bowled by Saini and Udana 2 overs each while 1 over in between. When Pollard came in you had to go for the leg-spinners considering his poor performance against them in the past. And because Pollard did play well against them doesn't turn out to be a poor change. I don't believe that Udana does have that quality to be a good death bowler. Even for Sri Lanka it is Kumara who bowls mostly at the death overs for them. Mumbai just showed better intent than few other teams while chasing targets. If something is to be blamed is Kohli's innings of 3 runs off 11 balls which changed the momentum a bit.

I am one of those who completely understands why those 'set' batters didn't come out in the super over. I've played enough cricket to know that when you're playing an innings like that, after a certain point your adrenaline is just taking you further and further. Once you come back, have a drink and sit your body tightens up and you physically feel like you're exiting a zone. It's the worst thing as a batsman and it has happened to me on 2-3 occasions and every time you try harder and it gets worse. It's just a human thing and I don't know one batsman who doesn't feel that way.

You guys might not believe it, but on one very hot day I was batting with consistent cramps (it was the first game of the season) and you can train all you like but a match is a match. We were dead and buried and my partner and I batted 20 odd overs together to come within striking distance of winning it. With a couple of overs to go, I basically couldn't walk. It was that bad. Went off, had a drink with a LOT of sugar and magically was fine in 2 mins. A wicket fell, I went back out with an over and I couldn't hit one ball out of the inner circle. It's just the most bizarre thing ever. From seeing it like a beach ball to batting worse than the tail. I can't explain it.
