Ah, a loss!
Not a better batting performance. Top 3 did excellent but lower-order was unable to withstand the opposition bowling. Getting bowled out for just 230 was really bad.
In bowling Mills was the pick of the bowlers but Gul and McLaren went for plenty this time. Tahir picked up 4 but on the contrary Mendis failed. Their batsmen did pretty good in the first half of their innings and that set up the tone for their chase.

Getting early wickets always proves to be a winning factor. 231 was a reasonable total to chase and we knew it that we would easily do it. Once again a spectacular job by all the bowlers. Clarke cleverly rotated the bowlers to ensure regular breakthroughs.
And what a classy opening partnership that was in the chase! Then Dhoni and Duminy joined the party to finish off the chase quickly.

Thanks Dipak , Sartaj and especially Truman this was my first experience of such a major and extremely brilliant league and it's a very big achievement for me to reach the grand-finale of this magnificent league by a magnificent manager
Sad to lose there though , I topped the group , white-washed the opposition in the quarter finals and won hardly 2-1 in the semi-final , after so much success , it's very very sad to lose in the grand-finale series . I think Prats' team was strongest team here , he did excellent through-out the whole tournament and this is his prize for his hard-work . Congratulations Pratsy boy .
