The thing with Irfan is he is experienced, is a lefty and a can bat as well. For a team like GL he is a perfect #7 in case Faulkner fails like the last season. Instead, GL keeps buying young nobodies for 10 lakhs each which I don't think will get a game anyway.

Imran Tahir was a real shocker for me ,50 lakhs would have been a stellar deal for any franchise. Not sure about the latter one maybe because Shahzad is an opener and a Specialist wk and almost every team has that.
RCB still didn't go for any Keepers ,both Rahul and Jadhav are part timers and ABD doesn't keep wickets any more.

Thats been the issue for them after 2013 season - that was the last time when ABD kept Wickets.

Also, I don't think we need extra keeper. Part time keepers are fine for T20 leagues. Rahul and Jadhav can manage and if Head is playing, even he can be an another option.
