You know those cricketers who had so much potential? The ones who did so much at domestic level, and maybe even a great international start?

But then, injury hits. Or something like that. A decline in form.

Anyway, who are they?

Ashley Noffke.... someone please give him a bloody game. If someone from CA is here, please make it a point to go through the zillion posts I've made about including Noffke in the team. He can still carry off the Baggy Green with elan.

Another player I believe is Irfan. Injuries did him in.

Matthew Sinclair, this whole post above sums him up. He had a ton of potential, he's scored thousand's of runs at domestic level, he had a fantastic start to his test career scoring two double 100's in his first seven games and averaging over 50 for two years, and then he well you know, bombed out.

Matthew Sinclair this thread is for you.

From India:
Lakshmipathy Balaji - Had potential to be a good bowler and played a significant part in India's significant test victories in 03/04 but injury got the better of him.

Subramanium Badrinath - Has dominated at domestic level for quite a few years now with the bat but hasn't been able to find his spot in the international side.

I can list quite a few from India.

Rohit Sharma, RP Singh, Laxmi Balaji, Irfan Pathan, VRV Singh, Wasim Jaffer...it goes on. Most don't have any injury-related cases though. But whatever it may be, they are definitely FAILS.

Mohammad Zahid was a lethal fast bowler from Pakistan thus keeping alive the Country's tradition of producing fast bowlers. He was a genuine fast bowler produced after a long period of time. He took 11 wkts in his debut test against New Zealand and became the only Pakistani to have taken 10 wkts or more on his debut. His bowling was really devastating and can tear a batting side into pieces. He picked up a back injury in the tour to Sri Lanka and after his back operation has not yet m

^ Its the unibrow that made him such a great cricketer. It never full really reached its potential such as Fawad Alam. Seems to be a trend with Pakistani cricket :laugh
