Afridi is the most aggressive. Pietersen is aggressive with the best technique.

In a space of 11 minutes, youve created 2 poll's. Kevin Pietersen and Matthew Hayden, but youve got to go with Kp.

afridi is the most aggressive
his technique is one of the best from the players up there
itas just that his brain hasnt got the technique to handle his aggressiveness

You might have a point here - there isn't a better six-hitter in the game, possibly never has been (Although the notion of a six has changed and been somewhat devalued). However if he had half a brain he probably wouldn't be the stupidly exciting player he can be.

Kevin Pietersen has aggressivness with technique he is quite impressive to watch

Hayden dominates when in from, Pietersen just attempts to dominate every innings and most of the time it pays off

Kevin Pietersen - One of the most aggressive, and the one who's likely to be more succesful and average 50+
Matthew Hayden - Hayden is not like some of the others where he trys and hits miles out the park. He gets a ball that is ever so slightly wrong and smashes it - brilliant.
M.S Dhoni - A typical keeper batsman with a ultra aggressive batting style. Has been successul on the rather pointless asian pitches, it will remain to be seen if he can do it on a tougher stage.
Shahid Afridi - An out and out slogger with no temperament, can be good occasionaly, other times not. Can keep his spot in the ODI team with bowling anyway.
Sanath Jayasuriya - The master of pinch hitting, and carried on that trend throughout his career - class.
Andrew Symonds - A big hitter who proved his class at the 2003 world cup, and has carried that on at ODI level but hasn't proved himself at test level, althought that hundred would of helped.

Out of the lot in terms or aggression + success I say Hayden would win. If we had all these plays at the end of their careers I reckon Pietersen could top them all in boths forms of the game.

Afridi and technique in the same, never ending sentence? Give me a break!

Pietersen and Hayden are probably the top two at the moment. Perhaps Ponting is worth a mention too?

Lets be fair, Australia's top 6 could be in this catagory, Hayden and Gilchrist dominate, then Ponting, Symonds, Clarke and Hussey come in to give the slow death of shots. For me, Gilchrist, Symonds and Hussey are all big hitters with brain, Hussey more than any!

Pietersen and Bell in the England squad, and if Prior can do what he does in 5 day stuff in the one day game, he will be a massive prospect - maybe we could do an Australia here and open with him?

India and Pakistan dont really have big hitters which stand out, just at time mindless genious from Dhoni, Afridi aswell as others.

Cant be bothered naming more teams :p

No, when it comes to hitting, Afridi knows how to do it. If you've seen him play this year, or at the end of last year, you would know that he now hits it into the gaps and hits straight most of the time. Although he has so much strength that even if he gets an edge it'll fly to the boundry.
