I'm thinking about adding that to the FAQ as well...

its too difficult to tell whether the ball is moving anyway. although it did seem to duck back in on the very first ball, but that doesnt matter cause this game is gonna be ****.
i for one will be boycotting EA Cricket 2005, whos with me?
and for all those seemingly simple minded people who say ohh im getting cricket 2005 because it has better graphics (they look like small soldiers, remember that movie) and they have correct names and kits should use this little thing called common sense and boycott it too.
That's a good point. Watch how fast the ball comes off the pad - it fairly rockets towards the covers as though it was hit with the full face of the bat! EA have totally rushed this game.brad352 said:They've improved on it by making them act like the middle of the bat
stevie said:Did you read anything of m_vaughan's post? I'm not the biggest EA Sports fan but I still realise it's a mistake by the person playing. As has been said many times (by Colin mostly!), the person who did the video for us isn't even a cricket fan...
it wont have been beta, at this point considering its released on july the 1stAnkit kukreti said:Okay so that video was just a beta test of the game. We can expect another video from cricket2005.

f0bstyle said:Oh yeah, any graphics patches that I make for the new games will be in my spare time, so don't expect too much from me (except maybe from end of july to end of august)

How long has Cricket 2005 been made?
4 months at the most, maybe 5
Rugby 2005 was worked on about 2 months after Rugby 2004 came out. Thats how long they made Rugby 2005, and its pretty good
Also, about the copy of Cric 2005 that the guy who made the video got :
It is possible that the version he got was maybe from April/May, and decided to make the video now.
========================
In my opinion, PlanetCricket members should NOT buy Cricket 2005 from stores to boycott the game, and then buy the game (if u absolutly must) from countries like : Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, and those "type" of countries so no profit goes to EA, and then maybe, EA will sit down and think about this.
Who's with me say YAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or buy the game from eBay.
ajay2k5 said:I am just as annoyed as anyone else about EA's effort with Cricket 2005 but the truth is that when Cricket 2005 is released it would of been in developement for over a year.. And that is a true fact, not 4-5 months like you think.
