Disappointed with the way Raina and Rahul gave away their wickets. Totally wrong to get out hit wicket. And Raina after that hit for six, should have looked for two's and quick singles to keep the run rate healthy rather than go for another big shot. His hyper aggression since his return has not helped him. He looked the best today and was in sight for a big score, but yet again threw it away

A wicket here will break India open and give Sri Lanka a huge chance.

Very well batted by both Pandey and DK (Karthik). I actually wanted Pant in this game, but kudos to Karthik for making me eat humble pie. He has actually batted very well in the opportunities that he has got so far. Pant just has to wait for his chance, and grab them when he gets it.

With this inning he has saved himself for another 2-3 series. Problem with Indian cricket is we do not chop players based on form. We only chop players who go out of captains reckoning.

The only good thing about Rohit is he makes up the S/R in the end. If you see now he is playing at 87 of 58 with 150's strike rate which is good enough.

Rohit scored 89 today despite looking very scratchy. He was struggling to connect most of the time and was not at all fluent. But kudos to him for sticking out there! Raina batted really well for his 47 and gave the innings the much required aggression. His innings helped Rohit wade through and start hitting on his own. But that last over of Rubel Hossain was brilliant. Hope it does not make the difference in the end result.

If rain stays away, India should feel that they are ahead here. It's not easy to get the pace going on this track and if rain doesn't come, Indian bowlers can halt the pace better than Sri Lanka and keep Bangladesh down.
