Well Magoffin is out injured now.

England are such wimps, putting a nightwatchmen in a bloody tour match. Now hopefully Anderson stays there for a while and other English batsmen don't get much of a bat.

Gutted for Magoffin, hope it's not too serious. It's a good thing WA went back to the 4 man bowling attack else they would be down to 2 bowlers.

So 6/117 now and KP is the only guy to make it over 25. Suddenly the WA score looks pretty good. Keeping it tight too the WACA boys.

sifter132 added 2 Minutes and 45 Seconds later...

Make that 7 - buh bye Prior. This is cheering my day.:)

Not bad by Beer, bit expensive but managed a couple of wickets. Hogan is going pretty well this season this will be a great experience for him. Good 2nd dig for WA so far, Robinson is certainly loving the English attack.

If this was a 4-dayer WA could give England a run for their money.

England have never performed in the warm-up games. I remember we lost to SA A convincingly in 2004/05 and went on to win the series. So it may not mean a great deal, but England's batting is very worrying indeed.

Cook and Collingwood aren't scoring enough runs consistently, which is nothing new. Good though that Pietersen has scored a few, might just be getting some confidence back.

It would need to be a 5 day match to force a result with their run-rate struggling to reach 3 for the match.

Haha on Channel 9 the match summary had North out for 1. Don't know if the run out was his fault but that is the last thing you want to be doing when you have pressure on you. Pretty bad collapse by WA after such a promising start.

Drop him for that I say :p
Dam WA how did they manage to lose that, not good as we are meant to be getting the English confidence down. Hopefully SA can do a better job, last thing we need is 2 from 2 for the English. A bit gutted NSW isn't playing them as they are essentially the A side for Australia.

Really good to see us come back so well.

An in form Strauss is essential up the order when you've got Cook up there without a hope in hell of scoring any runs.
