If the weather's cold (like in the UK right now) and the Nutella is hard and awkward to spread, pop the jar in some hot water and leave it for a while. After you come back to it, it'll be nice and smooth, the way it would be on a hot day and the effect lasts quite a while. Don't do it more than once though, you could get bacteria in there if you keep reheating it! Don't boil it in a saucepan or anything daft like that, just use hot water from the tap.

I really should go to bed, but I'm watching the (very) late night boxing on ESPN! I'd love some Nutella right now, but there's no bloody white bread in the house, damn it! :crying

Edit: To the guy who hasn't heard of it: Treat yourself and try it, it is reaaaaaalllllyyy nice!!!

Yep, Ferrero is the company which makes both Nutella and Ferrero Roche chocolates.

It has lost a bit of its appeal since it became more widely available at Sainsbury's and the like. When I was a kid, it was only available in our local 'Italian Shop' and it cost a bomb! But it was so nice... Now it's widely available, it's still nice, but hasn't quite got the same appeal. Happens with everything if you have too much of it.....hold on, that isn't quite right!!

Totally agree with you. I used to have Nutella all the time as a child, and I suppose I have grown out of it. All I eat for lunch now is salad rolls.

Can't believe it today, my mom bought 'Sainsbury's Chocolate Spread' instead of Nutella, I almost had a heart attack. I mean how could you replace Nutella with another Chocolate Spread?

You just wouldn't entertain the idea would you? Nutella is so clearly superior to any other chocolate spread out there! We haven't bought anything else for years (choccy spread that is, anyway!)
