He needs a little improvement in bowling, yes, but I wouldn't pick anyone else over him in Tests right now. He averages 34 with the bat, and 34 with the ball, with an economy under 3. That is good enough for a fifth bowler.

I would certainly go for a better available option in place of him. The stats are fine but this is somewhat like having an ordinary player into the side while the plan should be to find and polish the one who can be your best player as a fifth bowling all-rounder. He failed miserably in shorter formats, let's see how he fairs in test against Top Teams.

Think I saw someone say that Rizwan isn't reliable yet. The same bloke happens to be the second highest ranked Pakistani batter and a keeper who averages 40.

Feels like everytime Liton Das is about to be dropped, he goes out there and scores a century out of nowhere. He has all the talent in the world but never seems to be consistent. Pleased to see Yasir Ali finally play a game too, long overdue. Although I doubt he'll be too happy given that they shunted him down the order.
