Gotta follow the forum rules, even while raging... :yes

I dunno about that man, seems like over-bowling the kid to me. Especially considering his age and his speed. Simply unnecessary, you can get him ready without giving him 36 overs to bowl.

Nothing like some action in the legs though to get yourself back up to speed

I heard Amir is returning to the red ball game. Is that true ? If it is then it's a great news for Pakistan for sure. :thumbs

Looking at the current situation of England, I see this as a great opportunity for Pakistan to win this series 2-1. The bowlers must deliver here it's a no-brainer. Pakistan should somehow manage 250-odd and then you see England under pressure right away. If West Indies can win matches in England than Pakistan definitely can especially with presence of Amir.

He's available for T20s on this tour, still retired from Tests.

Wikipedia showed him in the Test squad as well. I feel it isn't the most trusted source then. Probably the worst I guess because anyone could edit those.

That's because, technically, the whole touring squad is part of both formats' squads, so they don't need to bring in players for T20s and break the bio-secure bubble.

But with the uncertainties around the English camp I still feel Pakistan can make a series out of this tour. Their bowling still looks great for English conditions.

I think they should still play Abbas for the initial matches. Pakistan already made this mistake in Australia and they had to pay the price. I know Naseem was going through a mental trauma back then but still. Abbas has the experience of bowling in England and I guess he did get a 4-wicket haul in 2018 tour.

Obviously Abbas is going to take the new ball with Shaheen. Naseem and Fahim Ashraf will be the other seamers, I think.
    This could be the lineup

    Abid Ali
    Shan Masood
    Azhar Ali :c:
    Babar Azam
    Asad Shafiq
    Mohammad Rizwan :wkb:
    Fahim Ashraf
    Shadab Khan/Yasir Shah
    Shaheen Afridi
    Mohammad Abbas
    Naseem Shah

Pakistan would be mad not to give Abbas the new ball in England.

I would love to see Muhammad Musa get a go if they rest Naseem for a match. Had a tough debut in Australia, but could do well in England.

The guy swings it like a hell.... I saw him doing that during 2018-19 PSL season in knockouts.
