It's one thing saying the game's not been up to the mark given the expectations, but making the statement you made is blatantly false. If Big Ant doesn't care why exactly would they be working on Patch 4?

I'd suggest that is why they are pushing it out til April, to be able to test it thoroughly and hopefully not break working components in the mean time. Should be done just in time for the British summer (if they get one)...

I'm a big fan of BA & their work. We've struggled to get a halfway decent cricket game over the years & DBC has given us that.

Yes it has it's flaws but be honest which games perfect?

DBC17 in my opinion has made some really good step ons from DBC14 and i'm sure the work the team are doing will improve it again.

Fixed batting and broke fielding, history is not on their side at all

i really hope it gets properly tested and not in-house but buy actual playing members playing online etc

Not when you still can't play square against a spinner and players switch ends after a dismissal and many other things. I'm hopeful they're taking an extremely good look at all of that.

On behalf of Big Ant, I'd like to share a brief message regarding the fourth patch for Don Bradman Cricket 17. We're happy to announce today that the patch will be available towards the end of April.

The team has been busily collecting feedback from our players, so thank you to all of those who took the time to email us through bugs that needed squishing and things that they would like to see reflected in the game. We're doing our best to accommodate everyone.

Big Ant cheated us. It was an early access. Generally early access costs lower than the full released game. They took full money before releasing the full game.
