Out of curiosity, as it relates to PCPL players, is there any thread with the details of players, in terms of batting, bowling etc..., am not talking about the stats based on the current season, but upon signing up to be in PCPL.

Why can't we bring " Gate Receipts " system for home games? This will help the manager(irrespective whether they win or not) to keep their money in their banks under green area.

Like, if a game is played in home...

  • Home team members will fetch : $ x * posts
  • Away team members will fetch : $ y * posts
  • Neutral(someother) team members posting will fetch : $ 2(x+y) * posts
  • Posts within 24 hours after the simming only counts

This will definitely bring merry especially to the managers/owners of the team that lies at the bottom of the floor. :)

Its an idea, but this season not possible as all the money is for awards.

I know it is rather late in the tournament to ask, but can the organisers/owners of PCPL say why there is such a HUGE disparity between the prize money of positions 1 and 2? I don't expect it to be the same, but a difference of 60% is seriously an over kill!!!

It was designed so there is actually some incentive for the teams to spend money on players. We had a ridiculous situation last season where the prize money, had CC or DD won it, was less than they had spent on players. This way the winning team actually gets a decent return and an incentive to spend again next season.

Well then just how much did each team spend and again, maybe next season a cap will be created, so that teams with plenty cash, don't go spending and team with little being unable to spend, simply because they don't have it to spend.
But it would be interested to know just how much was spent on the internationals, by each team.

All the info is both in an old thread that was pinned in this forum and is now floating about and also the first page of the stats thread.
Basically thanks to DD and CC most teams will win more than they spent on players.
