We are externally happy to announce the BIGGEST & GRANDEST Online Cricket Tournament ever conceived anywhere till date. We dedicate this Tournament in the memory of Phillip Hughes..

WHEN & HOW:

We will be organizing DBC14 Online WORLD CUP Tournament based on both Group & Knock-Out basis, starting from 1st/2nd Week of January, 2015. Though 32 Teams will be taking part in this GRAND EVENT, the actual Tournament won’t be too long. We hope to complete the whole Tournament Maximum in 15/20 Days.

32 Teams will be divided into 08 GROUPS (as per Online Ranking), so Top 08 Online Ranked Players will be put in 08 Different Groups and so forth. Now, in group phase, every teams will play other only ONCE, and the Top 02 from each group (Total 16 Teams) will proceed to Knock Out Phase of Pre Quarter Final.

Till Pre Quarter Final, matches will be T10 (10 Overs) matches.

Quarter Final & Semi Final will be T20 (20 Overs) matches.

GRAND FINAL will be ODI (50 Overs) match.

So total number of Matches for 32 Playing Teams = 48 Group Matches + 8 Pre Quarter Final + 4 Quarter Final + 2 Semi Final + 1 Final = 63 Matches.

How the Teams will be selected:

27 Teams are already selected on 1st come basis. We will held an OPEN TO ALL (Except Pirates) Qualifying Tournament (Details will be shared later) for Selecting the last 05 Teams based on number of entries we receive by 15th December, 2014. It is obvious, Qualifying Tournament can only be held after 15th December, as new people can apply till then.
