Planetcricket Awards 2008 - Discussion thread

This is the thread for discussion of the Planetcricket Awards 2008 in association with Codemasters. The PC awards are an annual event where we take the chance to say thank you to the members who make the community what it is. There are more categories than ever before this year and a fantastic set of prizes considering that no cricket game releases have been made this year.

The prizes are as follows:

* 1 x Morrant whites top (L)
* 1 x Morrant whites bottom (L)
* 1 x Slazenger batting gloves (Men’s RH)
* 1 x Gray Nicholls batting gloves (Men’s RH)
* 1 x Slazenger Cricket ball (red)
* 5 x PC (Games for Windows) copies of Clive Barker’s Jericho
* 5 x PlayStation 2 copies of Brian Lara International Cricket 2007
* 5 x PC copies of LMA Manager 2007

Why do we need nomination. Its never fair way to judge and always partiality happens. Speaking from experience as have seen this in many Best this and Best that threads mostly started by iloveireland.

i think Best Casino Game has got to be Texas hold em! its the only one to have a group about it for a start

We need nominations because it's too big a job for just the staff to do it and deserving people get missed out. Having a threshold of 3 nominations and an admin block on certain ones makes it more manageable.
