According to the rules, if both NZ and Australia qualify but don't play each other then the semis will be held in home venues for the two host nations, which is the case also in my scenario.

I think Pool A is a given, we all know who will qualify and there won't be any upsets. Perhaps Afghanistan or Scotland will beat Bangladesh but other than that it should be fairly straightforward.

As for Pool B I think we'll see both West Indies and Pakistan slip up against either Zimbabwe or Ireland.

Also I think that there Pakistan are good enough to avoid upsets in the first round. WI I kinda see the point.

Oh. I am honestly surprised u have Pak listed to go out. I would say they will be fine, but WI could be in trouble. However I would still think that WI should negotiate the initial rounds.
