So predict how you see things playing out for the ICC WC 2015 IN Aus/NZ -

Here are the groups:

Pool A
Pool B

So this is how I see the groups shaping up, with each team in qualifying order -

Pool A
Australia
New Zealand
England
Sri Lanka
Bangladesh
Afghanistan
Scotland

Pool B
South Africa
India
West Indies
Pakistan
Ireland
Zimbabwe
UAE

For info the Quarter-Finals and the rules, see here: Finals - Schedule | Cricket Fixtures - Cricket World Cup 2015 Schedules | ICC Cricket

Quarter Final 1
Sri Lanka v South Africa, at the SCG 18th March
Winner: South Africa

Quarter Final 2
England v India, at the MCG 19th March
Winner: India

Quarter Final 3
Australia v Pakistan, at the Adelaide Oval 20th March
Winner: Australia

Quarter Final 4
New Zealand v West Indies, at Wellington Stadium 21st March
Winner: New Zealand

According to the rules, if both NZ and Australia qualify but don't play each other then the semis will be held in home venues for the two host nations, which is the case also in my scenario.

So:

Semi Final 1
New Zealand v India, at Eden Park 24th March
Winner: New Zealand

Semi Final 2
Australia v South Africa, at the SCG 26th March
Winner: Australia

Final
Australia v New Zealand
MCG, 29th March
Winner: Australia

I'll just predict the two groups.

Pool A
Australia
New Zealand
England
Sri Lanka
Bangladesh
Afghanistan
Scotland

Pool B
South Africa
India
West Indies
Zimbabwe
Pakistan
Ireland
UAE

I think Pool A is a given, we all know who will qualify and there won't be any upsets. Perhaps Afghanistan or Scotland will beat Bangladesh but other than that it should be fairly straightforward.

As for Pool B I think we'll see both West Indies and Pakistan slip up against either Zimbabwe or Ireland.

Yeah but rank who will be 1 and 2 and so on.

Also I think that there Pakistan are good enough to avoid upsets in the first round. WI I kinda see the point.

I would say

Pool A - 1. Aus 2. NZ 3. Eng 4. SL

Pool B - 1. SA 2. Ind 3. Pak. 4. WI

I am being slightly biased towards Zimbabwe though, I just think that under Dav Whatmore they will cause a few upsets.
