Bought a new desktop today. I can't play Fifa 13 and 14..:(
Problem: Whenever I start a match, the game gets shut down.:(
But, I played with the same disks on my lappy too.. But, there was no problem.
If you think my specs are problem, then my answer is:
Intel Core i5 3.0 ghz
4 GB ram
NVIDIA Geforce 280 GTX (GPU)
DX 11..
I expect some solutions, thanks.
Btw, I also have installed EA ORIGIN.

I got the same problem and the fix is before starting the match I mean after selection of your teams/stadium and other etc stuffs holding 'Alt' press 'Tab' and refresh for more than five times.Get back to your game and start the match.

----------

You need to do that every time even before quitting a match.

To fix this permanently the most common fix is updating your graphics card drivers, which I've already tried which doesn't seem to work.

I have all the graphics card software's installed!:yes(PhysX, DX etc)
Also the game runs without any lags too, but without refreshing, I can't play even a single match!:p

I've fixed this permanently by updating my graphics card drivers manually. I've been trying since a very long time updating my graphics card drivers and it always used to come up as I've the latest drivers installed when it wasn't. Be it running Option 2 on Nvidia's official website which is "Automatically find drivers for my NVIDIA products" or trying to update it from the Device Manager it always used show that I've the latest drivers installed.
So, what you need to do is go here>Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers. Try the option 1 and download as well as install the latest drivers. Done.
@Simon you could try it as well.
