nice day on the poker, 230 dollars or so up from about 7-8 tournaments. just cashed a 10k guaranteed. still a long way to go but i'm pretty well stacked. 2.7k for first place,

Driving at 21?? NO WAY. I had a driving permit at 14 and 9 months...

I don't know what I would do if I had to ask my mom to drive me everywhere till I was 21!!

Another plus to our system is that you dont have to deal with teenagers at the bars.

Regarding this, going out clubbing tonight, lets see how drunk I get before I fall asleep/pass out/throw up.
Bound to be a bit of a hit on the wallet too. Atleast I know I won't be going out again until after the midterms.


EDIT: And I'm pretty sure Sheen has some brain damage from the drugs. Even then, WAG. Real life Barney Stinson, but possibly more over the top.

LMAO yea of all the bars and clubs in LKF(clubbing district in HK; you probs know that), the place that sells the most alcohol is the 7/11 located there.

I've never actually been clubbing in HK before but I have heard of that place. But honestly it's so expensive. A single shot in the clubs here is like $8, and a bottle is $30-40 in the shops.

Recently? Nah. I'm 19 now, turning 20 in August.

I came to HK recently so that helps, UAE legal drinking age is 21 and even then it's just extremely expensive. Went clubbing a few times last sem as well.

The place I'm going to tonight is like 50 HKD entry and 2 free drinks. + Get stuff from 7/11 beforehand. Don't know what'll happen if the club's packed or something. *shrug*

Inevitably these nights end up costing a bit

My nights in town are normally completely free apart from sharing a taxi home afterwards

to be honest, I agree, though it is nice to go every now and then. Went quite a bit after I just turned 18, but now it's just rather blase. I went for the first time in about 6 months a few weeks ago, probably won't go again for another few months

House parties though, are awesome.
