How many downloads on average do you need to get for that file? Can you download it yourself on different computers?

Is the free account forever? What benefits does it have versus no account?

You need to get a lot of downloads for a free account. As a member I get one point per download by a non-member and need something like 10000 points to extend my account.

You could download it yourself on different IP addresses but you probably wouldn't have the resources to get enough by yourself.

The free account is not forever. It will more than likely be for 1 month, during which you will have to get 10000 more points to extend your account.

Benefits? No waiting in queue and direct downloads are two of the biggest benefits for me.

I've found Internet downlaod manager and Star downloader to be the fastest.

They can't actually give you speeds higher than your network.

What they do is, overcome server caps by using multiple connections, which maximise your connection's capabilities.

For me Firefox is the best downloader I get speeds around 30-32 kb/s which is the max speed allowed by BSNL. So I don't really need any premium account. If you guys want you can buy a premium account from Prakash & Company (Mumbai) He is charging Rs.551/- for 1 month account.

I firstly had Rs.250 /- Plan and I had downloaded 450MB File @ 200 kbps I discontinued that plan because of the small lmit.

I also had 256 and after that 500 one but my download limits exceed to 8gb. All limited plan under Rs 1000 are waste for me.

BSNL is very smart. They give good downloading speed in limited bandwidth connections and low speed in unlimited ones.
