Roo's AFL Newspaper

Today the Australian paper industry was hit, with the new release of a brand new newspaper. Huge talk around this newspaper, is that this newspaper would only produce AFL news. AFL is the biggest sport played in Australia at the current time, so people around the world wouldn't know about the game. But with this paper being published around the world every weekend, with updates to every game live and exclusive. The rest of the world, will get to know about this wonderful game of ours called. Australian Rules Football.

This massive news came from a local teenager in Bendigo in Victoria (outside of Melbourne) as he came up with the idea just on a casual normal day in his life. Roo as we call him, will release this paper at the beginning of the new AFL season, which starts in just a couple of days.

We had a little interview with the owner of this paper, Roo, and this is what he had to say......

I am so glad that the Australian media have given this paper the right away to go, because this should be a good way to get AFL information to the fans out there as quickly as possible. Waking up on a monday morning being able to read AFL news from the paper is something that every guy does, so it should be a big seller i think.
Not to sure where i came up with the idea actually, it just popped into my head one day, and so i presented it to the head office of Media, and they loved it, so hopefully it will be successful.

This paper will give you everything up to date that is happening in the 09 season of the AFL, and the good thing about this paper is it is going world wide, as most people around the world wouldn't know what Aussie rules is, so it's a opportunity for them to find out stuff about the game, and get involved.
As soccer if the major "football" code around the world. AFL, is Australia's major "football code", so it would be good to get it around the world.

The new featured AFL newspaper will bring out it's first addition on the 30th of March, involving the up-coming 2009 AFL Premiership season. Stay alert for this paper to be released, as it claims to be a belter!!!

I don't like AFL but it's nice to see a different type of story, and done well. Very like your cricket presentation of old, which was quality.

I reckon Adelaide will win the next match. No reason why though. :p

Yeah mate, well i really like this Newspaper presentation style that i have on photoshop, and the cricket story was defiently fun to write with.
But i thought about using it to something totally different, and a AFL story is always interesting to me
