Sheffield Shield


The Sheffield Shield is the domestic first-class cricket competition of Australia. The tournament is contested between teams from the six states of Australia.

The competition is contested in a double-round robin format, with each team playing every other team in two home-and-away matches. Points are awarded based on wins, losses, draws and ties, with the top two teams playing a final at the end of the season. Regular matches last for four days; the final lasts for five days. New South Wales have won the most titles, with 46 overall. The current champions are Victoria.

Auction Rules
​

• The bids shall be sent through a conversation that will be created by me only.
• You shall not disclose your bids.
• You can bid any amount greater than or equal to the base price of the player.
• You have 24 hrs after the round starts to send your bids to me.
• Players that are left unsold would be there as free trades.

Squad Rules
​

• There is no specific number of members in a squad.
• You shall have at least 12 players and at most 17 players in your squad.
• You shall have at least one player who can keep wickets.
• You shall have at least 5 players who can bowl.
• You shall have at least 3 pacers in your squad.
• If you do not complete any of these requirements, your team will be disqualified.

Lineup Rules
​

• You shall have at least 4 bowlers in your lineup.
• You shall have at least one person who can keep wickets.
• You shall have at least 2 pacers in your lineup.
• Your captain which is declared at the end of the auction, cannot be dropped.

Injury System


The injury of that player can be of the following types.

Spoiler: Injury Degrees

Degree 1
Can play with a rating drop (1) and if rested heals in one game. (50% chance of occurring)

Degree 2
Out for one game. (25% chance of occurring)

Degree 3
Out for three games. (15% chance of occurring)

Degree 4
Out for the rest of the season. (10% chance of occurring)

Note:- If a player with a Degree 1 injury plays, there is a 20% chance that he may suffer a degree 2 or 3 injury and 5% chance that he suffers a degree 4 injury.

Younger players are less likely to be injured. The players which play more games are more likely to be injured. ​
