Sliders I use without ball marker

I've been toying with these sliders a long time (over 800hrs on steam I've had the game running!). Been satisfied lately with many results being similar to real life. 100 run rate doesn't mean the AI is hitting it out of the park all the time, for example I just played a game where the AI hit 151 in a T20. I find the same sliders work well for ODIs too. Your bowling plans and skill will be important.

Cons to this set up: You're not going to play as many variety shots. Though every now and then I do. It is hard to pick up the short length bowls. If you're paying attention though you can premediate or know what's coming.

I have footwork not required and set pretty low, you can still use it. I feel in T20 sometimes even ODI, just getting bat to ball is more important, so your footwork skill should not be a high priority but sometimes is. I think maybe even getting rid of the timing/footwork feedback (ideal, good, etc) might be my next step.

I also use Batsmen close view for batting and make the stuff see through... But for a long time I didn't, as I could time the balls as they disappeared in front of the batsmen. I know, weird, but it worked. I don't know if you could bat from bowling view with these sliders, it would be pretty tough I think.

I've also worked on my sliders for how Whiteball vs Redball plays. My Redball sliders are a tad different. This is just whiteball right now. I was maybe even gonna make some for kookaburra and dukes specifically but gave up.

I have not touched umpire/review stuff from default.

Any questions or suggestions or way to make it better. Go for it.20201213102707_1.jpg 20201213102726_1.jpg 20201213102737_1.jpg 20201213102746_1.jpg 20201213102755_1.jpg

I will have to say, the lack of 6 hitting is still there. Even at 100 run rate. I just bowled to Sydney Thunder in a T20 at Manuka and they hit 169/0... that's a very poor score with 0 wickets down. Why... zero sixes. 0.

I think some things got reset during the last patch which they fixed a while back... like a DLS game. I had a 3-over batting inning after the other team had 7.3... I remember Big Ant fixed that so we would still get 5 overs as per laws of the sport.

I'll keep my stream of thoughts going on this...

I think making bowling even more difficult will result in more AI sixes as I probably bowl to many "ideal" bowls.

This is not the current test match. I'm bowling first as India and thought, too easy, but look at the real scoreboard. Bumrah 2 wickets, Ashwin 1 on his first over. Also Ashwin's wicket was 3/37, in real he bowled out Smith at 3/47. Someone bet Bumrah getting the next.

I just did some Pinkball settings. Based on some info I read. Like it bounces higher than white ball but doesn't swing as much.

Obviously this is just one session but been fine tuning the redball and whiteball over time so just needed some fine adjustments.

Anyhow I'll post them tonight with the redball...

20201218141120_1.jpg didn't finish the innings yet, but if it were not for Lyon having the knock of his life, India's first innings bowling would be pretty similar to real

Keeping footwork same as whiteball... it's pretty tough still.

btw, I use classic controls

Probably will want to reduce edges in test matches. Just seem to get a few too many. Going out really easy.

Yeah for test

good input 5
Ok input maybe 20
Poor input 35

Idea is to make it a little tougher test batting to discourage hitting big all the time as a human player.

Sitting watching India go 19/6 thinking maybe I got edges right? Anyhow. You get the idea, rest is pretty good.

So I tried a T20 game with 100 shot force. AI hit 204/5, with one 6. I mean, that would be amazing to get that score with no risk. Just weird. Not like I won by smashing sixes.

If you want the 6 fest, I suppose you need short rope.
