Prakash, the sound file importer you came up with does it mind what size the replacing file should be and also does it need to be of the same bandwidth or lower settings will do too.

well i've tried it.

well the size of the new file should be the same whereas the quality and other things does not matter.

Thats a shame, How can we get the same size audio file? Its near impossible. Will a shorter audio file do the trick or what?

The file size can be lesser but not greater also it does not mind the bandwidth too.

That isn't so bad then either way the commentary sucks but I want to replace the crowd for West Indies venues and the theme music on the menu with Channel 9.

Any chance anyone has the file number for music on the Cricket 2004 menu?

Try the attached Channel 9 theme, its awesome me think.

Don't know Jarry, I wanted to replace the menu theme with this but maybe it will grow on me if I keep hearing it every now and then I suppose?:

Seriously I am trying to update the crowd sounds and Maxwell's commentary with Bill Lawry's. Its far easier to replace the Maxwell's as he doesn't mention the player names nor does he mention the scores. Still they are one too many Maxwell ones, I have enough Lawry ones on my pc but dont know if I can do it.

Indeed it does mate, gets you more hooked if we can have all these in the game. Let me see what I can do, I just replaced the menu one with this one. I will have a listen ingame and let you know how it went.

Its sounds very nice ingame too. I have turned off the music in the options but starting the game brings up this music and its really a good to hear to the Channel 9 theme. If we leave it in the main screen without selecting the user it keeps playing.

Prakash, is there anyway we can export or import only some file and not just one file into the sound file like the cfg editor? For instance if we only want to replace Maxwell and I need to export only those is it possible to alter the sound file exporter to do so? Cheers.

Squiz, that was off the DVD. Although we do get Channel 9 through out your summer live(of course only the cricket). Even the recent SL series was on our TV here.

3304-3306 : 3305 is the one you may want to replace

I was having some problems with this trying to replace player commentary. I replaced it fine (both versions) in the editor but ingame only the second one was working and I couldn't hear anything when I selected the name in create player.
The lengths were right because I exported the old versions and recorded over them...
