3 times the batsmen have charged out of their crease and my keeper hasn't stumped the cpi batsmen? Do i have to press a button to get my wicket keeper to knock the bails off?

I dont know but I have found Batting against CPU if I do a 6 Hit Shot and come out slightly of my crease my bails are whipped off in a timley fashion. If I charge down ground miss ball I still have time to smoke a ciggy then hit the dive button and get back to crease.

So I think it may be a glitch

Occasionly the keeper is slow for me, but usually he takes the bails off, but leaving just enough time for me to regain my ground.

Im talking about when i bowl guys. My wicket keeper never takes the bails off or is to slow.

I've played against a friend where I've come down the track numerous times, been beaten by the flight and still had time to turn round and make it back into the crease. As long as you press the button quick enough you make it every time.

It's a shame as 2004 didn't seem to have this problem with stumpings.

At one point I thought my mate was going to throw the control panel through the window....

Hahaha !!...i remember once when i was on this game(cant remember what)and could not do the level and i got so ****ed off i broke my keyboard !!

I cannot understand why the stumpings are so slow.

Cricket 2004 had it spot on.

It also had third umpire down to a tee.

Now it goes faster, not slower.

When ever i try to swing my willow to spiner and miss the bowl the keper takes my bail of even i am not coming down the track

Had my first stumping chance yesterday. I pressed as many keys on the keyboard as I could, as fast as possible. No dice. The batsman made the three steps back easily :(

It's kind of annoying. In my close test match at the moment i really needed Jones to whip the bails off but he just let the batsmen get back into his crease without even attempting to remove the bails.

What's really annoying is that a lot of these bugs are not too difficult for the coders to correct.

For the stumping, everything is there, it just needs to be done slightly quicker.

I mean, if you run 100 singles, you will probably have 60 ridiculous attempted run outs when the batsmen are well past the crease.

I'm guessing the new ball bug is a variable not getting set correctly in the code - possibly after a save and reload of the game.

It's these little things that are frustrating, and a patch containing half a dozen bug fixes would not be that hard to produce.

I reckon that may be it Fish (is it OK if I call you that? ;) ). Trouble is, is it's going to take a while to play a whole 80/90 overs without saving to test it.
